According to the Military Police, a complex saturation operation has begun in the eastern district of the city of Chapeco. “The action is aimed at strengthening law enforcement in certain parts of the city in order to prevent and suppress criminal activity.”

Confiscated ready-to-sell portions of marijuana and cocaine, two radio communicators and a large amount of money. The amount was hidden in the back of a truck and amounted to 200,000 reais, which, according to the police, was allegedly linked to organized crime.

The two men were taken to the civilian police station, but no details were provided about the detention of the suspects. The origin of the money must be investigated.
