Companhia Águas de Joinville reported earlier this Sunday afternoon (12) that the water treatment system was back to full capacity.
“The Cubatao and Pirai water treatment plants continue to operate as usual, but the levels in the tanks are still below normal.”
Thus, the areas of Harivatuba, Joao Costa, Paranaguamirim, Park Guaraní and Ulysses Guimarães may still experience low pressure during the day or shortage in higher regions or those located at the ends of the networks.
In the early hours from Friday to Saturday, heavy rain forced the water treatment plant to reduce the rate of water treatment, as the rivers were very muddy. All Saturday, the stations worked normally, but the water level in the reservoirs did not fully recover.
