A young man found dead in a ditch this Sunday (6) in Crisium, south of Santa Catarina, has been identified as Talisson Douglas da Silva, 26. He was born in Porto Alegre (RS) but grew up in the Brazilian coal capital.
According to a family member who wished to remain anonymous, Talisson was killed after a fight in a bar. The motivation for the crime, according to this person, will not be related to drug debt or “payback”.
The boy, according to the Military Police, wore an electronic bracelet and had a criminal record for drug trafficking and possession, bodily harm, fire, threats, disobedience and failure to comply with urgent protective measures.
He was found dead in the Vila Zuleima area by a worker who was returning to the house. Talisson had injuries to her face and mouth. According to the Science Police, the young man was beaten to death.
The case is being investigated by the DIC (Criminal Investigation Unit) Criciúma. According to delegate Yuri Micheluzzi, the investigation is already underway and is secret.
Talisson was buried on Monday morning at Crisium.
