Two people died and one was injured early this Monday (5) in Balneario Pizarras, north coast of Santa Catarina, after they were run over by hooded men. The police have not yet identified the possible perpetrators.

According to the Prime Minister (military police), witnesses stated that hooded men walked past the site on Rua Ilhota Street in the Bela Vista area and opened fire on the victims. The men then ran towards Santa Luisa Street, where more shots were fired.

The victims were two men, one aged 34, who the prime minister said had previous convictions for drug trafficking, theft and threats; and the second, at 36, with criminal penalties for theft, menace, and theft. Both died on the spot.

A 36-year-old woman was also hit in the right shoulder. She was rescued by famous people and sent to the city emergency room. According to the prime minister, she also had a criminal record for executing an arrest warrant and was in a state of drug intoxication.

The place where the crime took place, according to police, is known as a point of sale of drugs. The civil police must investigate the crime.
