Schroeder’s family members and volunteer firefighters are following the search for Vitor Hoffmann, 54, who has been missing since Monday (age 23).

Vitor lives in Schröder III, not far from Frida Hein Krause’s school. He was wearing light denim shorts and a shirt. Information can be given to the military police on 190 or to the fire brigade on 193.

According to José Felix Batista Neto, commander of the volunteer fire department, this Wednesday morning (25) a popular person called the corporation and said that he had seen Vitor in the Itupava Aku area, on the border with Joinville. He would show signs of disorientation and refuse help. A car drove to the place, made a detour and did not find the man.

Around 10 a.m., firefighters were told that Vitor had been seen on Estrada do Julio, near Campo Alegre. At about 11 a.m., firefighters sent a group to the region on an ATV and another motorcycle. Again nothing was found.

“We went all the way, reached the border with Campo Alegre, but, unfortunately, we did not find Vitor Hoffman,” explains the fire commander.

“In the middle of the journey, we met a woman who also said she saw Vitor this Wednesday morning, but so far nothing.”

The search ended in the afternoon, but firefighters are in direct contact with Vitor Hoffmann’s family and friends, who have also formed a task force to try to find him.
