A worker who was electrocuted on Friday (20) while repairing the construction of an advertising sign on the shore of BR-101 in Sombrio, south of Santa Catarina, died in hospital.
Samuel da Silva Colonetti, aged 27, was rescued from a cardiac arrest by the fire department and taken to the Dom Joaquim hospital in Sombrio, but could not stand it and died on the spot.
On the Web, the excitement was caused by the death of Samuel. “It’s hard when someone leaves so young, with a baby and a whole life ahead of them,” the friend wrote.
The young man’s funeral took place this Saturday (21) at the Sangao Cemetery.

Samuel suffered an electric shock while working on a billboard repair. After being electrocuted, he was hung on a cable eight meters from the ground and was rescued by firefighters.
Another worker, who was not injured and was at the scene, told the film crew that he noticed the moment when his colleague struggled and then hung unconscious.
He said that, realizing the situation, he immediately turned off the power to the building and called for help. The causes of the accident must be investigated.
