Further evidence that the transition from the government of Carlos Moises to Jorginho Mello did not take place is being found by contractors who are still awaiting payments for the “December measurements”. While this fact is not uncommon when there is a change in government, this time the uncertainty about receivables is seen as more serious.

There is no assessment of the amount of payments for the month of December, there is no reaction of the penalty or complaints from the companies that are doing the work on their own.

The topic only has implications because it moves political backstage, not because of demands from companies. There is no information about paralyzed work yet. However, mayors, as in the south of the South Caucasus, where some work is underway, are showing concern.

The Governor talks to MDB about where the new owner of the secretariat responsible for the work should come from. Only then can conversations begin to normalize the situation.
