The civil police of Porto Belo, on the north coast of Santa Catarina, executed five search and seizure warrants this Wednesday morning (11) concerning the investigation of crimes of the criminal community, ideological lies, active corruption, procedural fraud and defamatory denunciation. Searches were carried out in the cities of Porto Belo and Itapema.
Initially, a police investigation was launched into the theft of a 43-foot boat.
However, in the course of their work, the Civil Police established that the alleged victim had in fact committed the crime of slander.
Along with other investigated, a series of crimes was committed with the participation of the vessel.
The 43-foot boat has a legal limit, and hence the group has tampered with the original characteristics of the vessel to create a “new vessel” that is free of the restriction.
To do this, the group had to pay bribes to a former sailor in the Brazilian Navy who came into contact with another sailor, still on active duty, who committed falsification.
Allegedly, the sailor entered ideologically false data to create a new ship record.
The lawyer of one of those involved was also searched and seized on charges of procedural fraud.
