In a note, Thiago’s legal office said that during the operation carried out this Thursday (15), the police were at the adviser’s house to search and seize a cell phone.
“Search and seizure is a legal act, but Councilor Pastor Thiago Ferreira Melo did not commit illegal acts, he only exercised his right to freedom of expression based on the basic principles governing the Federal Constitution.”

According to the Santa Catarina Federal Police Bulletin, 15 police teams operate in the state in the execution of warrants.
The PF reported that a total of 81 warrants are being issued across the country. The targets of the operation are demonstrators who are wanted for roadblocks that have arisen since the announcement of the election results.
The warrants, which are also issued in Acre, Amazonas, Espirito Santo, Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul, Paraná and the Federal District, were issued by the STF (Federal Supreme Court), police said.
