Bars, restaurants and nightclubs in Joinville now have an anti-harassment seal and measures against women. It involves the Viva Bem Union, the Union of Hotels, Restaurants, Bars and Similar Establishments of Joinville and the Region, and a partnership with the civilian police.
The motto is “Joinville Sem Assedio” and establishments that join us will receive a seal. With the help of a code (which will be installed and announced only in the women’s toilets of the institutions), women can ask for help from the staff of the institution.
The goal is to offer help and protection to women who are at risk of harassment, harassment or violence. The idea came from adviser Cassiano Ucker (UNIÃO BRASIL) and includes the largest number of institutions to strengthen the campaign.
The launch will take place on November 25, International Day to End Violence Against Women.
The promotion, as is already happening in pharmacies in Santa Catarina, in accordance with state law and other cities such as Curitiba, Maceio and Belo Horizonte, in restaurants, bars, nightclubs and other establishments, is also already in law.
Civilian Police Regional Delegate Raffaello Ross greatly welcomes this initiative precisely because it offers support to women in environments where they are more at risk, mainly due to the consumption of alcoholic beverages in those environments.
