The father of a nine-year-old girl called the military police this Monday (21) when he realized that his daughter had started coming home with some gifts. He also noted that the girl had been recalled in recent days. The family lives in Braço do Norte, south of Santa Catarina.

According to the Prime Minister, the father said that he had found a nickel holder with money in his daughter’s backpack and interrogated who gave it. The girl said that she received it from a man who always gives gifts while she waits for the bus at the bus stop to go to school.

In a conversation with a police officer, the girl confirmed this story and said that she was not afraid of a man. She also said that the suspect asked her to write a letter indicating what she wanted as a Christmas present. In the letter, she must indicate the street where she lives, the number of the house and the color.

According to the child, the man also asked if she was home alone at night and if he could pay a visit. The girl also said that she had arrived at her residence.

The girl also said that the suspect does not approach her, except for the presentation of gifts. He also said that he doesn’t show up every day. The last appearance was on Friday (18).

In the face of the facts, the Board of Trustees worked and was in place. The Prime Minister released a report on the incident. The case should be investigated by the civilian police.
