The military police caught a man who destroyed his girlfriend’s house last Saturday morning (19) in the Cidade Nova area of ​​Itajaí, on the north coast of Santa Catarina. The abuse happened after the victim discovered the betrayal.

Police were called by a woman in her 20s who lives in the same house as the couple and said they were locked in the room when she heard the victim being attacked in addition to the noise and broken objects.

Inside the house, the police continued to hear the noise of things breaking and arrested the alleged aggressor at the scene of the crime. The 22-year-old victim said that she traveled, and when she returned, she discovered treason, in addition to the fact that her boyfriend left for work and did not return at the usual time.

Due to the delay of her partner, the victim said that she decided to leave, and when she returned, her boyfriend was at home, after which they began to fight, and the man broke numerous objects in the house, such as a TV, a mirror, cosmetics and started punching her in the face , head.

A 26-year-old man was taken to the GCP (General Institute of Expertise) because he had cuts on his body due to broken glass from a mirror and TV, as well as signs of alcohol intoxication.

In the end, both were taken to the Itajai Civil Police Station for due process.

Another victim of domestic violence in Cidade Nova

Also on Saturday, around 10:50 pm, the Prime Minister responded to another case of domestic violence in the Cidade Nova area. The 41-year-old victim called the police after her ex-husband tried to break into her home and threatened to kill her.

According to reports, the man was completely drunk and aggressive. Neighbors tried to help the woman and ended up in a physical fight with the out-of-control man.

The man was arrested and could hardly stand due to alcohol intoxication, as well as injuries sustained as a result of a fight with neighbors, an ambulance was called to the scene.

After the service, the garrison took the man to the IGP (General Institute of Expertise) in Balneario Camboriu due to his injuries and then to the Itajaí police station.
