The military police and fire department were called to respond to an apparent accidental death during a home invasion in Bombinhas, on the north coast of Santa Catarina, early this Sunday (20). A man of about 22 years old was found lifeless, without a mobile phone and identification.

The incident took place on Zimbros beach in Bombinhas at about 4 am on Sunday morning. Firefighters report that they worked and, upon arriving at the scene, found the man already unconscious and bleeding heavily.

The military police heard a resident of the house who said she woke up around 3:30 am to take her daughter to the bathroom. It was then that she heard a noise and saw a man running through the backyard.

The boy would frantically start knocking on the windows and doors of the house. According to a resident, he shouted “let me in.”

Residents also reported that the boy was “harassed” and “asked for help.”

He would have broken the glass of one of the windows of the house when he cut himself. Moments later, the man would have thrown his head through the door to break the glass and enter the house.

After some time, while trying to enter the residence, the man fell to the ground unconscious.

The fire department says the man went into cardiac and respiratory arrest, as well as a deep gash in his right arm that could have caused him to lose a lot of blood.

SAMU has also been activated. The brigades carried out resuscitation measures, but they were unsuccessful.

The victim had neither documents nor a mobile phone. The prime minister described the man as white-skinned, with straight hair, wearing a gold watch and a white Lacoste T-shirt, as well as shorts and black sneakers.

He appeared to be about 22 years old and wore a bracelet on his wrist to enter the party.

The civilian police, IGP and IML were also present at the scene.
