A woman was rescued by military police after being attacked multiple times by her partner in the Zimbros area, in Bombinhas on the north coast of Santa Catarina. The victim’s mother called the police.

When the police arrived, the victim’s mother stated that her daughter had been attacked by her partner in the house. Upon entering the residence, police found the couple talking in bed, but the victim appeared very frightened and with injuries to his body from the previous days’ aggression.

Police spoke to the 40-year-old victim, who claimed to have reached out to her mother for help via messages as her husband, in addition to assaulting her the other day, still threatened her today.

In the face of the facts, the police gave the 40-year-old suspect the voice of arrest and took the parties to the Bombinhas police station for appropriate procedures.
