This Monday, a woman scared off two thugs who were trying to rob her house in Camboriu, on the north coast of Santa Catarina (17). The military police were called in connection with a gunshot at around 5:40 pm in the Varzea do Ranchinho area.

On the spot, the police officers made a sweep and found on the floor a glass wall of one of the houses destroyed by fragments, in the house the police were talking to the victim, who said that he was in the residence with his sister and two workers, when he saw two men armed to enter the property and hand over the workers.

Seeing the robbers, the woman returned to the bedroom of the house, took her husband’s firearm and fired at the wall of the house to scare off the suspects.

Seeing the shots, the men immediately fled towards the woods, while the victims hid in a neighbor’s house until the police arrived.

The suspects have not yet been identified, the civilian police and scientific police were also called and visited the residence.
