The two men were rescued by the military fire department in Florianopolis on Saturday afternoon (15) after both fell off the south coast at Praia dos Ingléses.

The hard-to-reach area required air support from the BOA (Air Operations Battalion) in conjunction with the GBS (Search and Rescue Team).

Arriving at the scene, the Archangel-05 helicopter found two victims, one seriously wounded, the other lightly wounded. After the rescuer made a half-height landing, it turned out that the heaviest victim hit his head and momentarily lost consciousness.

After the arrival of GBS jet skis for joint service. Due to weather conditions, the most severely injured was taken by helicopter to the Arcanho base, from where he was taken by ambulance to the Governador Celso Ramos hospital.

The second victim with minor injuries was taken by the GBS team and also taken to the hospital.
