The meeting took place this Friday morning (14) at the JEC (Special Criminal Court) in the state capital of Minas Gerais. According to the Lafayette Forum, the meeting was unsuccessful and a new hearing was scheduled for the following Thursday (19) at 9 am.

The defense of 50-year-old Lenirge Alves de Lima is also suing for non-pecuniary damage and seeking compensation in the amount of 60,000 reais. Next Monday (17) the two sides will meet again to try to reach an agreement on this process. If negotiations continue, Judge Arilson D’Assunção Alves, who presided over the hearing this Friday (14th), must be informed.

At the meeting, the cleaning lady did not want to comment, as her lawyer led her. However, upon arrival at the court, the professional spoke to reporters and spoke about the expectation of meeting with the businessman for the first time since the attack.

“I didn’t even want to look at his face because the riot is big. The person who puts us down as if we were trash. Only I know what it was like to enter this condominium wet and humiliated,” she said.
