This Thursday (13) Blumenau County Jury sentenced defendant Walter Figueiredo della Giustina to seven years in prison for the murder of his wife, father-in-law and illegal possession of a weapon. He fired several shots at Valmor Holler, who was killed on the spot. The shell hit the convict’s wife, who died five days later. The crime happened in 2015.
The jury sentenced the defendant to five years in prison for the murder of his father-in-law, one year in prison for the manslaughter of his wife Priscila Cinara Holler, and another year in prison for illegal possession of a weapon, for a total of seven years in prison. . . .
A crime
According to the ONSK statement, the crime took place on August 15, 2015 in the Itupava Central microdistrict, when the convict’s wife called. He was asked to return home as her father was at the couple’s house and they were arguing. Upon arrival, the defendant took a .22 caliber revolver, which he kept in a drawer in his bedroom, and went to where the father and daughter were fighting.
Also, according to the complaint, the father-in-law was altered and armed with a machete. The convict fired several shots at Valmora. Four shells hit the victim, and one shot hit Priscila’s right eye.
The defendant fled the scene to avoid being caught in the act and failed to provide immediate assistance to his wife. She died five days later because a projectile was lodged in her brain.
For the murder against Valmor, the defendant will serve a prison term in a semi-open regime. For illegal possession of weapons, Walter will serve a sentence of open custody. In accordance with the decision of the Sentencing Board, a judicial pardon was granted for the offense of manslaughter of Priscilla, the defendant’s wife.
