This Tuesday (11) police officers from the DIC (Criminal Investigation Division) issued two preliminary arrest warrants in the city of Blumenau, in the Itajai valley, against two male brothers suspected of killing José Ricardo da Silva, 39 years old. years. The crime took place on October 2 at a city gas station located in the Velha area.
According to the delegate in charge of the investigation, Bruno Fernando, the investigation revealed that the two brothers had chance encounters with the victim, who was the stepfather of a friend of one of the authors. On this occasion, José Ricardo went to get satisfaction from one of the suspects in the family dispute that had taken place a week earlier.
“After the victim broke the rear-view mirror of the car of the attackers, they got out of the car and followed the victim, one with a penknife, the other with a machete, reaching her, hit her with a machete on the arm and the other in the chest, which led to the death of the victim ‘ said the delegate.
On the day of the crime, October 2, there were rumors that the fight could have been politically motivated or a drug debt, but the delegate clarified that this was neither of the two hypotheses. “The investigation showed that the controversy arose because the victim tried to rape her stepdaughter, who at that time was 16 years old when she lived in the same house with the victim. The stepdaughter did not register a statement about the alleged violence, ”said Bruno.
Based on the evidence gathered, the Police Department presented the suspects for pre-trial detention, and the PMSC (Prosecution Office of Santa Catarina) expressed a positive opinion, and the judiciary issued an arrest order.
One of the authors was found and arrested at his residence in the central area of Vella. The other was in the parking lot of a supermarket on Pedro Zimmermann Street. The names and ages of the people have not been released.
The men were taken to the DIC headquarters in Blumenau, after the usual procedures they were sent to the Blumenau Regional Prison to be available to the judiciary.
