The MPSC (Ministry of State of Santa Catarina) carried out a new check on the public market of Florianópolis on Tuesday morning (11). The idea of the action was to check whether the previous recommendations of the body were followed by the mayor’s office of the capital. The proposed changes concerned the issues of accessibility, safety and regulation of the fire protection system.

According to prosecutor Daniel Paladino, the temporary operating license issued by the fire department expired at the end of September.
“We have decided that the deadline is November 4th. If we do not find the issues of the Market, not only related to fire protection, but the entire Market resolved, on the same day we will ask in an administrative or judicial manner to ban the entire complex,” the prosecutor said.
In order for everything to be settled, the municipality must have a Certificate of Use and a final certificate of ownership of the building.
