Initially, the planned changes included two sections in Itajai and in Balneario Camboriu. The sites were from 119.1 to 120.6 km in Itajai in the south and from 136.6 to 137 km in Balneario Camboriu in the north.
However, Decree No. 237 of the PRF in the Supreme Court was canceled and replaced by Decree No. 255. Two sections were removed from the document and a new section was added.
According to the Federal Highway Police, the changes came after meetings with concessionaire Arteris. “These two sections need more adequate infrastructure to support heavy traffic and will be addressed in the future,” explains PRF.
The new section runs from km 111.4 to km 112.1 in Navegantes in a southerly direction.
“This is the entrance to BR-470 to BR-101, crossing the bridge over the river Itajai/Asu to the first exit after the bridge. This will facilitate the flow, mainly of trucks, which will not need to enter the main lanes to access logistics companies on the outskirts of the site,” PRF said in a statement.
Another curbside area is in San José, in Greater Florianopolis, from 203 to 203.8 km southbound.
The publication of the resolution took place on 30 September. The release is expected to go into effect 30 days after publication, i.e. October 30th.
The concessionaire Arteris is responsible for signaling the release areas. If the alarm is not completed by the scheduled date, the deadline for
