The lack of education of a driver from Balneario Camboriu will weigh on his pocket.

The decision of the city’s 1st Special Civil Court, released this Thursday (30), shows that a man was sentenced to pay moral damages to two employees of a condominium located in the North Coast city of Santa Catarina.

The two doormen were verbally and physically attacked because the man would have been disgusted by the delay in opening the garage door in June 2021.

A visitor to the condominium, the defendant argued in his defense that he was arguing with the doorman for not providing the service, forced to wait to leave the building he usually visits, he denies aggression.

However, video footage shows the agitated defendant molesting doormen at the gates of the condominium and stabbing one of them.

It was even held by the people who were there.

In the police report, registered on the same day, and the testimony given to the police, the authors of the action revealed that in addition to disorder in the workplace and physical aggression, the defendant would have been humiliated by racial crimes.

“The alleged non-delivery of the service due to the delay in opening the gate in no way serves as a basis for supporting the deplorable, intransigent and violent behavior of the defendant, as well as the abuse in the words used by him of elements that constituted a true wrongful act”– argued the judge in his decision.

The driver was ordered to pay 10 thousand Brazilian reais, as compensation for moral damage, verbally and physically attacked the doorman, and 7 thousand Brazilian reais, also for non-pecuniary damage, for another condominium worker.

The values ​​were set taking into account, among other things, the financial capabilities of the defendant.

The decision is made in the first instance and can be appealed.
