A man (15 years old) was arrested this Thursday for impersonating a member of the federal police. The arrest was made by civilian police at Itapoa, on the Northern Plateau.
According to civilian police, the man walked around the city, posing as a delegate, and presented a false document.
He was arrested after the city’s CID received information that the man and the couple posed as federal police officers and were using a BMW.
Upon discovering the vehicle, the group was approached by civilian police officers. The driver again introduced himself as a delegate, but on the spot it was found that the document was fake. Also, he didn’t have a driver’s license.
He and the couple were taken to the police station. The man was arrested at the scene of the crime using a false identity and later taken to Joinville Prison.
