After a group of friends reported to ND+ about an episode of violence at a nightclub in Imbituba, south of Santa Catarina, locals decided to demonstrate this Monday (12). Through the memo, the institution presented its version of the facts, including a video of what happened.

According to the defense, a private security company identified individuals who acted inappropriately at an establishment located in Praia do Rosa.

The collaborators would then ask the group to stop their activities. “Which was completely ignored, and the security service arranged for it to be removed from the interior of the establishment,” the note says.

Also, at the direction of the suspects, they began to kick and break through the door of the institution, eventually breaking it down. In addition, they would pelt the guards and the house with stones and bottles, knocking the gate out from under the people inside.

The company said that all the facts were duly recorded by CCTV cameras, images from which will be transferred to the competent authorities.

“Never once at the police station were they denied clothing. The person was present and an action was taken and the citizen was informed that his presence would take a few minutes. The man asked if he could register in Florianopolis, to which he was answered in the affirmative. So the man preferred not to wait and left the police station,” the delegate stressed.

The father of one of the victims spoke to ND+ on Sunday (11). A businessman from Rio Grande do Sul said that his daughter went to this place to celebrate her 30th birthday with friends. She is a dentist and lives in Tubarao. The report chose not to name the victims.

According to the girl’s father, the man who appears in the video in a jacket and with a glass of drink must be the owner of a nightclub.

“My daughter had dinner with her mother and stepfather and then went out to celebrate with her friends,” he said.

He said that his daughter called at around 2 am in tears and despair because her friend had been beaten by security. The victim of the attack was a 23-year-old law student.

One of the young man’s friends who was present at the scene told reporters on Monday morning (12). “The guards would be very aggressive with this friend of mine, they put his face on the floor. So my other friends didn’t like it and there was a fight with the guards. Then what happens is what is shown in the video, ”he said.

She says she has been frequenting the place with friends ever since it opened and called the security team very “unprepared”.

“They should have called the police and not attacked anyone. I tried to talk to security. It was impossible to talk to them.”

The victim also reported that a friend had a broken finger and would have to undergo surgery. He also said that he had four stitches in his chin. “He’s covered in bruises,” he said.

The girl also said that there was no false conclusion and the reason for the fight could not be a direct conversation with the owner of the establishment, as the businessman said.
