The violent death of store owner Miriam Hatsue Abe, shot to death on Saturday morning (10) while working in a flower shop and accessories store, shocked the city of Garuwa in the north of Santa Catarina.

Married and a mother of three, Miriam was popular in the community and was known to be quiet and friendly. So much so that several residents expressed regret over the loss of the Internet.
“She was a friend with a huge heart, a very caring mother,” wrote one of the friends. “She was very sweet, how many times I went shopping there because of her charming and gentle image,” the buyer described.
According to the military police, the trader was in a shop in the Urubuwara area when a couple drove up in a car and the woman shot Miriam several times.
She was visited by the Prime Minister and firefighters, she was sent to the emergency room, but she died a few minutes after entering the infirmary.
Deputy Eduardo Defaveri, who is responsible for the case, said that there are versions of the crime, but they cannot be disclosed so as not to interfere with the investigation.
The civilian police have already heard the witnesses and should hold additional hearings. Online, residents are asking the community to help monitor images of a suspicious black car in the region.
Miriam will be covered this Sunday (11) in the funeral chapel of Garuva, and the funeral is scheduled for 15:00 in the municipal cemetery of the city.
