A military police officer assigned to the Prime Minister’s DSPS (Health and Welfare Administration) in Florianopolis is a fugitive. He was given a preventive arrest under the María da Peña Law after threats against his wife.
The corporal also threatened civilian police officers at the Lauro Müller police station in south Santa Catarina after they launched an investigation, according to police chief Ulisse Gabriel, in charge of the case.
