According to a report from the Civil Defense of Santa Catarina, the municipalities of Santa Catarina affected by the extratropical cyclone that passed through the state on Wednesday (10) received over R$ 1.5 million in donations until this Saturday (13).

Among the most donated items are seven-day basic food packages, personal hygiene items and household cleaning products totaling over R$370,000.
The municipality that received the most donations was Joinville, which now accounts for more than a third of the total donations.

Along with Joinville, donations were also received from Ararangua, Balneario Barra do Sul, Balneario Pizarras, Barra Velha, Canelinha, Crisium, Forquillinha, Peña and São Francisco do Sul.
With the exception of Ararangua, Barra Velha, Crisium, Forquillinha and Joinville, they are all on the list of 10 municipalities that declared a state of emergency after the cyclone, which also includes Balneario Camboriu, Itajai, Navegantes, Porto Belo and São João do Itaperiu.
