The final public hearings on the Florianopolis Master Plan, held this Monday (8) at CentroSul, have completed a cycle that has passed through the 13 districts of the municipality. Residents and representatives of the community got the opportunity to once again take part in the construction of the bill.
The final event was attended by 528 residents, the event with the highest number of participants out of the 14 held. Of those present, 126 spoke orally. During the presentation, residents from different areas and members of the public expressed their views, suggestions and criticisms of the review process.
In the first part of the hearing, members of the multidisciplinary master plan review committee provided an overview of the district hearings. In addition to the review and the number of public events, the review also mentioned legal aspects and factors related to topics such as health, education, basic sanitation and public safety.
“We are completing an important milestone, but the ways to contribute to the review don’t stop there,” Mayor Topazio Neto explained, noting that public consultations are still available on the City Hall website until August 12.
The mayor also recalled the announcement of the opening of a cycle of debates on the project within the City Council. “In this case, in addition to the presentation of the project, the population will have feedback on important topics clarified by the technicians themselves,” he added.
The opening cycle of debates within the city council will be broadcast live on Câmara TV on August 20 at 13:00, and a chat will be organized to collect questions and considerations from the population. The channel will be open until 29.08.
