There were two murders this Sunday in the south of Santa Catarina (7). A 21-year-old man was shot in the head in Balneario Arroyo do Silva, and a 43-year-old man was found lifeless with signs of violence at home in Lauro Müller. The crimes are unrelated.

According to the military police, the young man was shot dead when he drove up to a friend’s house in the Erechim microdistrict. He was hitchhiking in a car with three other friends. The victim was identified as Yuri Telles.

In the testimony, the trinity who was in the car presented the same version. They reported that Yuri asked for a ride to a friend’s house, and upon arrival there, a man came out of the yard with a gun firing at the car. Two other suspects were with him.

At that moment, the driver told the police that he had started the car and noticed that Yuri had been shot in the head. They then moved to the regional hospital of Ararangua, where the young man’s death was confirmed.

The police also said they had made a detour in the area and located two suspects involved in the Avenida Beira Mar crime. The shooter could not be found. After approaching, they were taken to the police station.

The message tried to contact the DIC (Criminal Investigation Unit) of Ararangua, where the case was being investigated, but there was no response until the case was closed.

Murder at Lauro Müller

The second murder was recorded in the Guata region, in Lauro Müller. A 43-year-old man was found dead in the house, who went to the police because of threats.

According to the Prime Minister, a thread was wrapped around his neck, his hands were tied, in addition, his face was covered with a cloth. The victim was identified as Iranes Soares da Conceisan.

The 41-year-old man, who has a criminal record for theft, embezzlement, robbery, bodily harm, damage and disturbance, confessed to the crime but did not give a reason, police said. He was arrested for murder. The case will be investigated by the Urusanga police station.
