The eldest son of Jessica Bullock, found dead in an apartment in Blumenau, is already with his maternal grandparents. This was announced by the sister of the deceased in a video posted on the Internet.

In the pictures, a nearly two-year-old child sits on the lap of his maternal grandparents. At the end of this week, the family received custody of the child, who has been in an orphanage since he was left at the request of his father in Minas Gerais.

“Our boy is already with his grandparents, returning to his house,” Jessica’s sister wrote in the publication.

For the past week, the child has been left at the home of his paternal grandparents. The boy was delivered by strangers who claimed to be lawyers for Kelber Enrique Pereira.

Shocked, Kelber’s parents contacted Jessica’s family to let them know the boy was safe with them. At the request of the State Ministry, the police took the child to a secret place that even the family did not know about, in order to ensure his safety until the father was found.

The father, thought to be the prime suspect in Jessica’s murder, was arrested last week and the victim’s family has been trying to keep the minor ever since.

However, child custody is still temporary. For the ND+ portal, the lawyer for the victim’s family reported that temporary detention had been granted to the 2nd Blumenau Family Court. “The process will be fully observed until the child returns home,” said Paulo Fernando Gruber.

The lawyer also emphasized that the intention of the maternal grandparents is to provide the best way for the development of the child. “Who will certainly have all the material and emotional support in this difficult and extreme time of mourning.” The process of judicial detention of a minor is carried out in conditions of judicial secrecy.
