Five teenagers were detained by the premier (military police) after committing thefts in at least two stores in downtown Cacador, in the Midwest of Santa Catarina, this Monday morning (18).
According to police, they skipped class to commit crimes suspected at the crime scene. The military police officer on duty suspected the teenagers’ behavior and reported it to the Emergency Center, which dispatched two garrisons to the scene.
The suspects were approached by military police on Rua Getúlio Vargas with stolen items, including four T-shirts and a balaclava. The victims were identified and the items were identified.
Faced with crime, the teenagers were detained and taken to the civilian police department for an offense similar to theft. In view of the age of the defendants in the case, a board of trustees was convened to monitor the progress of the case.
