Incident reports confirm that we may be experiencing a change in the way gas bottles are delivered to homes. All because of the risk of theft. In recent days, thefts have been reported in Tubarao, south of Santa Catarina, which has become a problem not only for companies, but also for the police.

The author of the “coup” calls for delivery, offers an address, and when the delivery man enters the address, the truck is found, that is, the cylinder is stolen. It soon turns out that the person at the given address did not place any orders.
One of the reports refers to a delivery man who was robbed of two cylinders. On the eve of the victims of the same crime were other couriers. There is a suspicion that the scammer may be the same.
In one of the cases, it is recorded that the courier received a call with a request to deliver four gas cylinders. At the location, the delivery man was surprised by the presence of a vehicle with the same performance that had already been reported in another episode. A man of about 50, tall and thin, came up and said that the lady lives on the top floor and is already waiting for gas.
The courier went to the apartment, where the woman said she hadn’t placed any orders. Plus, she said that a few days before the next delivery, she suffered from the same fraud, also using her address. Returning to the car, the delivery man noticed that two cylinders had been stolen.
Police are investigating the case using CCTV cameras from companies close to the scene.
