Since 5 am this Tuesday (28) Kazan has been connecting a new pipeline that will bring raw water from the São Bento River Dam to the Crisium Integrated Supply System.
Due to connection services, the water supply to Crisium, Forquilinho, Isara (part of the system), Maracay, Nova Veneza and Sideropolis has been interrupted.
The restoration of distribution is planned for midnight this Tuesday gradually, Kazan said, and the most remote places will only be able to receive water again at dawn on Wednesday (29).
Kazan focuses on the fact that the population consciously consumes water during this period in order to ensure a faster return to everyone. The connection of the new pipeline is necessary to ensure greater reliability of supply in the region and increase the suction flow of the system, the company says.
