The shooter and fiancé is Manish Madheshia, a member of the Indian Army. The footage shows him firing into the air. As he prepares for the second cop, who should also be upstairs, the gun accidentally goes off. The shot is fired before the groom raises his right hand, killing 35-year-old Babulal Yadav, who also serves in the army.
According to the newspaper Sun, Babulal came from far away to visit his friend. The guest fell to the ground with injuries. He was hospitalized but did not survive.
Indian police told ABP that as soon as Babulal was pronounced dead, the people who took him to the hospital fled the scene.
“The police detained the groom and several other people, they are being interrogated,” the corporation said. The case is being investigated as a manslaughter.
