This Sunday, 5th, the Companhia Águas de Joinville, located north of Santa Catarina, is implementing a new water supply network on Rua Minas Gerais that will bring more water to the Morro do Meio area, west of cities.
There will be a connection between the new network and the existing network, which will disrupt the water supply in the area during the day. The forecast is that the system will return to normal in the region on Sunday night.
The work on Morro do Meio includes 2.9 km of a new network that starts at the corner of Rua Tupy and continues to the intersection with Rua Henrique Albrecht. A larger diameter pipe has been laid on the road, thus, the water supply to the microdistrict will be expanded.
The flow of water will be sufficient for the current needs of the region and also provide future service. The investment of 1.4 million reais will benefit 11,600 residents of Morro do Meio and should be completed by the end of June.
