Following his arrest and conviction for the murder of Elisa Zamudio, former goalkeeper Bruno was once again sentenced to prison. This time the reason is the non-payment of alimony for Bruninho’s son.
The decision was made by the 6th Family and Probate Court of Mato Grosso do Sul, but the civil police of Rio de Janeiro, where the former goalkeeper lives, have not yet complied with the court order.
In the decision, signed by Judge Alexander Tsuyoshi, Bruno must pay his son R$70,000 as alimony. The values have already been updated according to the two minimum wages set per month from January 2020.
The court ordered the former goalkeeper to remain in jail until all outstanding payments are paid.
Custody of Bruninho remains with his maternal grandmother and, according to her, the boy knows that his father was convicted for the death of his mother, but he has no contact with Bruno.
