Artist from Malaga Daniel Casaresone of the most prominent flamenco guitarists on the contemporary stage presents his new project Magiterraneto the National Opera and Ballet of Riga, the capital of Latvia, with the support of the production company SO LA NA Entertainment.

As part of a mini-tour around the country, Casares offered with his production collection of eleven themes with which he conquered the Latvian public, carried away by his incomparable interpretations, mixture of allegrias, tarantas, solea, bulerias and tangothrough the universal language of the guitar, achieving this in the Latvijas Nacionala Opera un Balets -Opera and the National Ballet of Latvia-, poster ‘sold out’. A reception exceeded all expectations and this is nothing but a confirmation of the potential of flamenco outside our country.

At only 16 he was awarded the prestigious Bordón Minero award at the International Festival Cante de las Minas de La Unión, becoming youngest guitarist to date to achieve this. In addition, he is the recipient of the Jaén National Guitar Award and has countless collaborations with other prestigious peers such as; Alejandro Sanz, Miguel Poveda, Dulce Pontes, Pasion Vega, Antonio Orozco or José Merce.

The next stop on this tour will be at the Ventspils City Concert Hall, where a big reception is also expected.

This production complements the various international tours that SO-LA-NA has had in recent months, continuing to reap success with the fifth season of Flamenco Real at Teatro Real.
