Skyscraper “Machine” delivers project 18 months early in Balneario Camboriu

The Skyline Tower was completed 18 months earlier in a city with one of the most expensive square meters in the country, Balneario Camboriu, on the northern coast of Santa Catarina. According to FG Empreendimentos, responsible for the work, the unprecedented progress was driven by technology and innovation in civil engineering.

The construction company clarifies that work on Skyline began in September 2019, and the official commissioning will take place on Saturday (9). The 130-meter-high skyscraper attracts attention with its modern architecture, 37 floors (34 residential), 49 apartments and more than 1,100 m² of recreation area.

According to FG, there are two apartments per floor, two of them are “differentiated”, and there is also a penthouse.

In order for such a building to be built and delivered 18 months ahead of schedule, even despite the Covid-19 pandemic, one thing is important: technology. In this sense, the company emphasizes that new construction methods have optimized work, even reducing waste emissions by 20%.

One of the technologies implemented in Skyline Tower is a pool in a modular system, which prevents leaks and noise transmission to the apartments below, reduces the need for maintenance and reduces construction phases by 40%. In addition, you can control water filtration, lighting and temperature using your mobile phone.

In addition, the adopted ventilated façade helps to improve the thermal insulation of the skyscraper as well as eliminate moisture and therefore reduce moisture intrusion and mold. FG engineers claim that this method is four times faster than traditional methods, resulting in even greater durability and quality.

Dry construction system, also commonly known as Drywall, allows better plant adaptation and increased flexibility, reducing turnaround times by 40% according to FG Empreendimentos. ABOUT Drywall it is also a sustainable alternative to skyscrapers.

Located at Rua Julieta Lins, 271, in the Pioneiros district, the Skyline Tower has a total sales value of approximately R$430 million. The construction company clarifies that there is only one apartment left to sell.
