New design, more comfort, safety and technology. The 2024 Ford Territory will be more powerful than the previous version and more competitive. Available in Metallic Blue, Qatar Grey, Vermont Red, Roma Brown, Toronto Black and Bariloche White.

“Territory 2024” received a new transmission and suspension, prepared for work on Brazilian streets and roads. In fact, for local testing, the vehicle was driven through different regions, temperature conditions, altitude and road surfaces.

Robust and well-thought-out design

The new model has been completely redesigned and features a robust and elegant design. Highlight interior space that is larger and more refined trim details.

A new front grille gives the SUV greater ruggedness, as do all full LED headlights, including front and rear fog lamps. The alloy wheels are larger, measuring 19 inches, with a diamond cut and dark background, and the tires are 235/50.

The Territory has a 1.5 engine with Ecoboost direct injection, producing 169 horsepower and a torque of just over 25 kgf. Mated to a seven-speed automatic transmission, it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 10.3 seconds. Its dual-clutch design was even borrowed from the Mustang Shelby GT500.

As for fuel consumption, according to Ford it is 9.5 km/l in the city and 11.8 km/l on the highway (using petrol). In addition, its fuel tank has a capacity of 60 liters. With four driving modes (Normal, Mountain/Hill, Eco and Sport), the car automatically adapts to different driving conditions. The front independent suspension is McPherson type, the rear is multi-link.

More space and comfort

It is 4,630 meters long, 1,936 meters wide, 1,706 meters high and has a wheelbase of 2,726 meters, providing plenty of interior space and greater comfort for those traveling in the back seat.

The trunk volume ranges from 448 liters to 1422 liters with the seats folded down. Opening and closing is carried out using an activation sensor, without the use of hands.

The interior impresses with a combination of refined materials and surfaces that are pleasant to the touch. It features power steering, a multifunction steering wheel with a rotary gear selector, and electrically adjustable and ventilated leather seats for comfortable driving.

Technology and Security

The new Ford SUV also features a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a multimedia center with the same size screen, a 360° camera, dual-zone digital air conditioning with rear power outlets, customizable ambient lighting, an inductive charger and an electronic handbrake with auto-hold function . . It features wireless connectivity for Android Auto and Apple Carplay and an inductive charger.

In terms of safety features, the Territory has a rain sensor, adaptive cruise control with Stop and Go function; collision warning and autonomous emergency braking (AEB); automatic switching on of headlights; lane change warning; pre-collision braking, post-collision braking and tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS). It also features a 360° camera, six airbags with intelligent occupant detection and blind spot monitoring (BLIS).
