As the benchmark for nautical excellence for 30 years, Schaefer Yatchs has invested in the brand’s presence in the overseas market, shipping products from Santa Catarina to all five continents. The shipyard has already started 2023 by accelerating navigation in international waters, and in January simultaneously took part in three important maritime exhibitions: St. Petersburg Power and Sailboard Show in Florida, USA; Toronto International Yacht Show in Canada; and Boot Düsseldorf in Germany.

In St. Petersburg, the Toronto Boat Show and the Boot Düsseldorf show, the main event was the Schaefer V33, a pleasure boat, a term used for speedboats with a center console command post and a T-top. , whose cabin does not interfere with the movement of the bow – is produced with an emphasis on the North American market.

The boat Schaefer 400, known in the maritime market for its unique design, maneuverability and speed, was also presented in St. Petersburg. The model features an exclusive hard top in this category, as well as a wide platform with gourmet space, reinforcing the Schaefer Yachts tradition of prioritizing outdoor space. In February, Schaefer also attended the largest boat and yacht show in the world: the Miami International Boat Show, one of the most important nautical events of the season. Five boats were presented at the fair: Schaefer V33, Schaefer 400, Schaefer 450, Schaefer 510 GT Pininfarina and Schaefer 660. In addition to participating in famous boat shows in Brazil, the company also participated in other international shows throughout the year, such as the International Boat Show in Sanctuary Bay and the Sydney International Boat Show in Australia; Caribbean International Boat Show in Puerto Rico, and Palm Beach International Boat Show and Suncoast Boat Show in the USA.

More than ten years of export experience

The brand’s entry into the international market is not accidental. Schaefer Yachts has been investing for many years in research, product adaptation and development of new projects to serve specific markets. With over a decade of export experience, the company already has ships cruising around the world.

In 2016, Schaefer Yachts started its export project to the United States, the largest boat market in the world and known for its demand. To date, over 150 boats have been shipped to the US. This success in North America has opened the door to other international markets, and today the company has won customers in all parts of the world,” says Igor Felipe, Schaefer Export Manager.

Projects such as the Schaefer V33 and Schaefer V44, specially designed for the US market, have attracted the attention of people in different regions of the world, he said. “Currently, the company’s focus is on expanding its presence in the United States, expanding to regions not yet covered domestically, and expanding its distributor network in Europe and Asia. In order to meet the stringent requirements of these different markets, Schaefer Yachts has received important certifications such as NMMA and CE that guarantee the structural quality of its products,” explains Igor.

Looking to the future, the company’s export manager expects that Schaefer Yachts is already preparing for 2024, when it intends to participate in new events in more countries, expanding the presentation of its products designed and manufactured in Santa Catarina to an increasingly wide and demanding international audience.
