The 6th Startup Summit, one of the main events of the Brazilian startup ecosystem, takes place in Florianopolis from August 23rd to 25th. The meeting is taking place at Centrosul and was sold out in July. Now those who are interested in following the main content on the Internet must register online – participation in this modality is free.
This 6th edition will feature big names as speakers. Among them is Eric Rees, entrepreneur, founder of the lean startup movement, and author of The New York Times bestseller The Lean Startup.
Rhys became known as the founder of several startups, including IMVU, a social network and the largest social metaverse on the Internet, created in 2004. products that deliver value to customers while reducing costs, resources and time.
Deborah Perry Piscione also has a confirmed international presence. An entrepreneur, she is the author of “Os Segredos do Vale do Silicon”, which takes a look behind the scenes at the largest technology hub in the world. Deborah describes herself as a serial entrepreneur responsible for building several startups over the past few decades.
The other confirmed from outside the country is Tim Ash, one of Brazil’s top global digital marketers. He is the creator of SiteTuners, a CRO-focused agency recognized as a benchmark in the field, serving clients such as Google and Facebook. In addition, he is the author of Landing Page Optimization and Unleash Your Primal Brain.
The Brazilian team includes Executive Director Rachel Maya, who specializes in consumer experience, brand extension and women’s leadership and empowerment. He is currently CEO of RM Consulting and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the United Nations in Brazil. She has worked for companies such as Novartis, Tiffany & Co., Joalheria, Pandora and Lacoste Brasil.
Daniel Mochidlower, in turn, is the CEO and President of Embraer-X, a venture capital firm focused on Embraer’s innovation segment, which helps turn startups into innovative businesses. With a background as an advisor and negotiator, he helps entrepreneurs create plans that combine the execution power and expertise of a large company with the agility and focus of a startup.
Organized by Sebrae, ACATE (Associação Catarinense de Tecnologia) and ACIF (Associação Empresarial de Florianópolis), the Startup Summit will feature around 200 speakers who will talk about the main trends in the sector, in addition to 3,000 startups and an expected audience of 10,000 participants. .
Free online registration is open
Since in-person tickets sold out more than 45 days before the event, Startup Summit opened up free registration for those interested in following the main content online. An audience of 30,000 remote participants is expected.
The sales success is a testament to the strength of Santa Catarina’s innovation ecosystem in driving the event forward, as well as the impact of the partnership between the filmmakers, who note the public’s interest in another release.
In addition to confirming important national and international names, more than 200 lectures will be spread across 21 content tracks. The material will be available in real time to those who register to participate online.
