How it all started
In 1961, Moasir Werner, also known as Seu Masita, decided to take on the challenge. At that time, he was a young lawyer with a dream: to go into business and become an entrepreneur.
According to him, until he started his business, he did not rest. And here’s how it all happened. The name Promenac Camvel is an acronym for National Mechanized Products.
And throughout the history of Promenac Camvel Group, Mr. Masita, in addition to hard work, has also enjoyed the support of a single family, but not only through business. United mainly by the love built with dona Yolita. Even today, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren gather every Sunday, making this history even more alive and strong.
Since we are talking about family, at the time he founded Promenac, Mr. Masita’s five children were still children. So, Sergio, Claudio, Moasir Filho, Marcio and Lidia grew with the company.
Until the moment came when Seu Masita began to make decisions centrally and entrusted his children with the mission of day-to-day management of the stores.
“I am very family oriented and I want the whole family to be involved in the business. I was very happy that I could count on all the children,” he says proudly.
And not only the children of Mr. Moasir went on this adventure. The third generation of the family is already working at Promenac Camvel, modernizing it, bringing a new look and new spirit to the business.
Changes in honor of the 62nd anniversary of history
Promenac was born in Itajaí as the first company in the region to offer complete vehicles. A few years later, the operation was extended to the neighboring city of Balneario Camboriu – with Camvel.
Today, Promenac Camvel Group operates in a variety of segments ranging from car and motorcycle sales to used car resale, consortiums and car leasing.
More than 330 direct employees work in nearly 20 stores and outlets across all segments of the group serving customers in Itajai, Balneario Camboriu, Camboriu, Navegantes, Peña, Itapema and Porto Belo.
Celebrating 62 years of history, the Itajaí store has recently undergone a major renovation. The new structure goes beyond the sales of Volkswagen vehicles by offering a high quality after-sales service to ensure customer satisfaction at all stages of the purchase. In addition, the store also has a Promenac consortium that combines car sales with financial services.
The visual communication of the device has also changed and now features a new Volkswagen brand design that is much lighter, bolder and more innovative, putting people at the center of the brand. The intention is to communicate even more with customers in a more modern language.
Promenac Locadora and used car service remain in the old store, ensuring service continuity across the segments.
