Adviser of the State Secretariat for Science, Technology and Innovation Murilo Mafra was in Jaragua do Sul, north of Santa Catarina, on a knowledge exchange visit at the Novale Hub, the city’s innovation centre.
Entourage featured a space that spanned 24 initiatives installed in the Jaragua do Sul area. – Photo: Disclosure/Novale Hub Mafra was greeted by Novale Hub CEO Nelson Netto and Associação Centro de Inovação Jaraguá do Sul President Luis Leige. He learned about the structure of the Innovation Center, was able to better understand the process carried out by the Technology Innovation Center (NIT) JaraguaTec, and also received an overview of the work.
Today, there are 24 initiatives installed in the Novale Hub, whether they are incubators, residents or in the process of soft landing.
The agenda was part of the itinerary that the Secretariat took in the region on the same day, divided between local companies and government agencies.
The visit was also accompanied by the Novale Hub technical staff and representatives from the City Hall of Jaragua do Sul and the Federation of Industries of the State of Santa Catarina (Fiesc).
For the CEO of Novale Hub, getting closer to the new structure of the government of Santa Catarina is fundamental to continuing the work carried out since 2018 in Vale do Itapocu. “The process of integration that has been shaped in recent years and is now beginning to gain momentum can only happen if we have the support of the community and the public sector, especially the state government,” said Nelson Netto.
