Balneario Camboriu Central Beach on the north coast of South Carolina continues to garner important achievements and unprecedented events. Between Tuesday (6th) and December 20th, the sandy beach will host the Paradise Arena Escolar BC, the first school games arena in Brazil.

The project aims to introduce the students of Balneario Camboriu schools to the universe of games.

On site, students will have the opportunity to take experiential sessions with professional players through the Rage Quit Academy, a platform that helps casual gamers develop their “gameplay”.

“This is an innovative project that will bring our students closer to this technological universe, that is, the world of electronic games, giving them the opportunity to learn and exchange experiences with specialists in this field of technology. The event takes place in a 900 square meter arena and will resonate throughout Brazil as the first edition of this project takes place here in Balneario,” said Mayor Fabricio Oliveira.

Through this initiative, students from the Balneario Camboriu Municipal Education Network will be able to experience technology, innovation and knowledge directly through video games.

Participating schools will schedule a visit to the arena with the Catarinense Federation of School Sports.

Other visitors interested in exploring the gaming arena will be able to visit it by registering in advance at the venue located in Barra Sul on the central beach of Balneario Camboriu.

The project is implemented by the Santa Catarina School Sports Federation in partnership with the Municipality of Balneario Camboriu, the Municipal Sports Foundation of Balneario Camboriu, the Department of Education of Balneario Camboriu and the Brazilian E-Sports Confederation.

Sportion agency, which has been active in the field of sports since 2003, will organize the event in partnership with Corre Brasil, which organizes sports events.

Students will be able to rely on tutors online as well as on site to help with the use of the equipment.

Arena Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 11:00 am and 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Saturday and Sunday, from 10:00 to 14:00.
