Early in the morning from last Sunday (6) to Monday (7), the pilots of Azul and LATAM again reported sightings of UFOs (unidentified flying objects) accompanying the aircraft in different parts of the south of the country. Ufologists Frederico Morsch from Rio Grande do Sul and Luis Prestes Jr. from Santa Catarina analyzed the events.

Luis Prestes outlined his version of the appearance of UFOs in recent days. “They are becoming more obvious because people have begun to look at the sky more, getting rid of the fear of telling their stories and trying to understand the phenomenon,” he justified.

Frederico analyzed images of lights taken by radio cameras facing the Guaiba River in Porto Alegre. He believes that the illuminated dots visualized and recorded by the pilots do not match those recorded by the cameras due to “differences in behavior” between the lights.

“The cameras are focused on Guaiba. There is a possibility that the light comes from Starlink (Space X satellite platform). There is a possibility that these lights recorded by these cameras are not the ones that the pilots saw, ”he said.

According to the researcher, the cameras filmed the opposite side from where the pilots supposedly saw the mysterious rays. “In the direction of Lagoa dos Patos,” he explained.

According to Frederico, “It’s still too early to tell what these lights are, or the exact reason why they appear.”

Researchers cite FAB screening

Both Luis and Frederico said they received information that two FAB (Brazilian Air Force) aircraft from the Canoas Air Base in the Porto Alegre metropolitan area were sent to check on developments in the region’s airspace. The report was contacted by the Brazilian Air Force based in Canoas but did not receive a response until after the article was closed.

Mystery lights in RS and SC

Pilots from Latam and Azul airlines told air traffic controllers they saw lights in the sky over Porto Alegre, the state capital of Rio Grande do Sul. Records were made on the night of Friday (4) to Saturday (5) at Salgado Filho Airport. Moving lights were recorded by about seven pilots in the area between Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul.

The dialogue between pilots and airport staff was recorded using a security camera at Salgado Filho Airport. At the time of the appearance of the lights, there were no other aircraft in the area, as reported by the control tower. The hypothesis is that the light signals come from UFOs (Unidentified Flying Objects).

On Tuesday evening (8), pilots filmed lights in the sky near Santa Catarina. Dialogue between crew members shows surprise, with the professionals unable to identify the objects seen. They only mention “light”, which appears and disappears several times.
