You must have heard of cloud computing, right? Even though this is a fairly common topic among tech people, others still have doubts about how this service works.

It can be said that cloud computing is performed through a global network of servers, devices stored around the world that store information, run applications, and even streaming services.

This type of technology is very common nowadays, but back in 2014 the scenario was a bit different. Thanks to his experience, vision of the market and understanding of the importance of this type of service, especially for small companies, Carlo Eduardo Spaetmann Correa decided to create Nuvme.

According to Carlo Eduardo, CEO of Nuvme, the company was founded in late 2014. At the time, he was working in the commercial field with a focus on Senior Sistemas cloud computing solutions, and there he saw an opportunity: to help small companies use technologies in the cloud, providing access to a market that was previously limited only to large companies.

According to him, there were no qualified specialists on the market at that time, and hiring a person with such specialization could be expensive, especially for small companies.

In addition, this type of technology was still quite new, since Amazon web services appeared in Brazil only in 2012, and most of the technical resources were still unknown to the market. Thus, delivering this type of solution using innovative technologies was a major challenge, as many companies were still unsure about the feasibility of implementation.

From this scenario, Carlo realized that he could do a lot by sharing his experience.

Carlo says that the first business planning for Nuvme was done after the first year of operation, and it became quite clear that she does not want to position herself only as a consulting company, she wants something more: to help and be part of the trajectory of many companies – the inner will of the general director.

The professional knew that the challenge for many small companies was to cover all costs, especially when the country was in recession between 2015 and 2016.

“Here in Brazil it has never been easy and changing the business model where you pay for a service rather than buying software and hardware has been another challenge. It was then that the values ​​and our mission became even clearer, we were able to bring the technology to several companies at that time, and helped in everything, not only in the cloud itself,” he says.

He also claims that most of the customers at the time were also unaware of operating systems and managing the entire infrastructure.

“From day one we aim to support our customers by understanding the reality of each one, Nuvme getting closer to its customers, a true support hand always committed to the customer’s solution,” he concludes.

Nuvme learned daily from its customers, and this knowledge was applied to new projects, which made the company more and more recognizable, including from Amazon Web Services, of which Blumenau is one of the main partners, according to the CEO.

Nuvme services and differences

Today, Nuvme has established itself as a consulting and support company for the cloud, helping clients from various sectors migrate their systems to the cloud.

“- After the migration, the customer also does not need to worry about the infrastructure, since we have several monitoring and management services. Particular attention is paid to the cost and security of the entire solution with extremely specialized and experienced professionals,” explains Carlo.

The company currently has 12 certified professionals, more than 20 certifications, and is increasingly specialized in software development companies. According to the CEO, they have over 150 infrastructure support contracts, have completed over 500 projects and will soon take it to the next level in partnership with Amazon Web Services.

In fact, the partnership with AWS began in 2015, and every two years Nuvme rises to the next level. Carlo says that the process of earning certifications and leveling up is quite complex and requires many hours of training and work on the technologies involved.

Unsurprisingly, this is one of the main differentiators of Nuvme, as well as long-term customer relationships focused on the simplicity and accessibility of the team.

“We have very few clients who end up leaving, and when they do, it’s usually due to business changes. For most of our clients, the values ​​applied by Nuvme fit perfectly within their budget and the quality of service is very good,” explains the CEO.

Carlo says that a partnership with Blusoft-ACATE was already in the company’s plans, and when he learned more about the benefits of being a member of the Information and Communication Technology Pole of the Blumenau region, he did not hesitate.

“- We have always had support from Blusoft, they helped us with Entra21, with lectures and other events. Blusoft is active, always remembers us. We want to strengthen ties with Blusoft more and more and mainly contribute, sponsor events and contribute to the ecosystem. They really add a lot to companies like Nuvme,” he adds.
