A year before the start of the pandemic, Spintec and Müller Consultoria were founded specifically to work in the healthcare sector and faced challenges head on. In January 2022, the merger of the two companies created Pulsati, a healthcare company that develops technology solutions for healthcare companies of all sizes and segments. Six months into the “new” company after the merger, Pulsati’s commercial director Emmanuel Francisco de Almeida explains that the movement of the companies and the fund has exceeded all expectations. “Every merger is always a source of concern, and in these first six months we have met and even exceeded expectations in terms of synergy and business creation. Our customers understood and loved Pulsati’s solution. We have grown more than expected for companies if they had remained separate,” he says.

With physical operations in São Paulo and Blumenau, Pulsati is now developing both regions through operations, business movement and skilled workforce training. He explains that developing people is a fundamental step for a company to operate. The training program has given employment to 10 teenagers, including boys and girls who are already employed by the company. “An important point to highlight is that more and more women are participating in the tech sector,” he says.

In addition to training and developing software and solutions, Pulsati developed its own home health product, which grew by 32% in six months.

The rise of companies during the pandemic has come at a time when solutions have been developed to help deal with the challenges the sector is facing to deal with the unknown Covid-19 and all its public health implications, in the management of services and products. .

“Our solutions have been very important for healthcare providers and operators to support each other in the fight against the pandemic, because the workplace of people has been reinvented, as well as the relationship between the doctor and the patient, and everything has been designed to facilitate the patient’s journey. for appointments, confirmations, registration in the healthcare environment, telemedicine and electronic health records,” he emphasizes. All technological solutions have been improved to adapt to the realities presented by the moment.

In addition to the service point of view, the director emphasizes, the supply chain was directly affected by logistics problems, product shortages and high prices. “Hospitals should have taken a closer look at the supply chain and therefore streamlined the billing cycle. We also had a general data protection law and hospitals had to adapt and worry about more than treatment,” he says.

Contributing to economic development with a strong presence in one of the fastest growing sectors in the country, Pulsati is developing measures to increasingly guarantee and improve the safety and well-being of patients.

“Our goal is to improve patient safety both in hospitals and at home with tools, processes and technologies,” he concludes.
