Even in the rain, Jair Bolsonaro (Poland) received dozens of fans on Tuesday in Balneario Camboriu, north coast of Santa Catarina (11). The event in the city’s Expocentro brought together, in addition to the candidate for re-election, the candidate for the state government Jorginho Mello (PL), the elected senator Jorge Seif (PL) and the new party member Bolsonaro, mayor Balneario Camboriu. In addition to them, the event was attended by businessman Luciano Hang, where he blew out candles in honor of the 60th anniversary. State and federal deputies, elected and incumbent, were also in place, supporting the incumbent and the candidate.

The event, which was supposed to start at 9 am, started at 11 am. During the speeches, Mello, Oliveira and Bolsonaro asked supporters to get undecided votes and those who did not even vote in the first round. The second round, on the 30th, will determine not only the next president, but also the next governor of Santa Catarina.

Fabrizio Oliveira spoke about Brazil’s goal and asked to vote for Jorginho and Bolsonaro. The mayor of Balneario Camboriu left Podemos and joined the PL on the eve of the first round.

Jorge Seif, who was also present, thanked for the votes received. At 45, he is one of the youngest elected senators. He also criticized the opposition. “Santa Catarina doesn’t want to bring back theft,” he was quoted, and was cheered by the supporters present.

Jorginho Mello also thanked for the votes in the first round, and also asked for more intensive work of those who received support at the turn of the votes. He also referred to the high percentage of abstentions.

During his speech, Bolsonaro defended the arming of the civilian population and other conservative programs. He also mentioned the price of gasoline, which for him is “the cheapest in the world.” He also defended conservative programs with criticism of the opposition.

The current president and candidate also brought the 101-year-old former World War II veteran onto the stage. In addition, he delivered most of the speech with a child on his lap.

“We are close to deciding which path Brazil will take, this is a fight between good and evil,” the PL candidate was quoted as saying.
