More than 60,000 people took advantage of the free public transport offered by Florianopolis City Hall on Sunday (2) first round voting.
Busan in the special track “Election” recorded a 60.63% increase compared to other Sundays in 2022, and this day had the highest demand of the year.
There were 62,461 users on the second day; other free Sundays usually average just under 40,000 people. Mayor Topazio Neto (PSD) expects the city to also gain an advantage in the second round, which will take place on the 30th.
“Thus, with a free ticket, we guarantee that every citizen of the capital can exercise their citizenship through voting,” the mayor justifies.
