The people of Santa Catarina chose (2) 40 names this Sunday to take over the Alesque (Legislative Assembly of Santa Catarina) for the next four years. Of these representatives, eight are from the south of the state and are already well known in the political arena.

State MPs such as Jesse Lopez (PL), Julio Garcia (PSD), Rodrigo Minotto (PDT), Volney Weber (MDB) and The Milton (PP) won re-election. New to this election were Pepe Collaso (PP), Soratto (PL) and Thiago Zilli (MDB).

They are already known in the region. Pepe Collasu, for example, was an advisor and deputy mayor of Tubarao. Soratto is also from the city and is currently an advisor. Thiago Zilli was mayor of Turvo.

Election performance:

• Jesse Lopez (PL) elected with 55,013 votes;
• Julio Garcia (PSD) elected with 49,958 votes;
• Pepe Collasu (PP) elected with 28,809 votes;
• Rodrigo Minotto (PDT) elected with 28,685 votes;
• Soratto (Poland) elected with 25,622 votes;
• Thiago Zilli (MDB) elected with 33,733 votes;
• Volney Weber (MDB) elected with 45,995 votes;
• Ze Milton (PP) elected with 56,585 votes;
